Over on my BlueSky, I’ve started another minor project. Every single day, I’m posting one game from my game collection. I’m leaning towards lesser-talked about titles that people may not have tried. To make things easier to digest, I’ll also be doing monthly wrap-ups of those posts here on one single page for easier viewing.
A casual RPG brawler with an emphasis on getting super rich. Entertaining sense of humor and good pick up and play gameplay.A clever puzzle-platformer with a Team Ico-esque aesthetic and storytelling.The natural evolution of the arcade classic into a challenging-as-hell dungeon crawler.A challenging open world platforming exploration game with unique multiple character mechanics that continous Falcom’s Dragon Slayer series.An pick up and play hack-and-slash dungeon crawler that is perfect for mindlessly wasting time before sleep.A M&M’s licensed game that is secretly a hard-as-hell… Crash Bandicoot clone?!A unique and stylish Fromsoft action game. Always been surprising they havent returned to this franchise, as it’s dripping in the usual From vibes.Pure B-Movie cheeseball camp. Flip and flop around and pump bullets into goons in this unapoloogetic loveletter to corny action flicks.Vastly under appreciated in its franchise. It may not be like the early Paper Mario games, but as its own thing, its excellent. Great combat system too!Cute, clever platform puzzler. Also available on modern storefronts too! It has a hug button, what more do you need?A unique arena brawler/fighting game with weapons and big environments to beat the hell out of fools with and in. Cheesy fun for sure.The best Kirby game that not enough people talk about. Kirby gets a mech, what else do you need to know?Not the ideal way to play Bust A Move, but you have to appreciate the ambition. Also, you get to use… THE CLICKY STICK!Not a good game exactly, but you will for sure get some laughs in. Pure nonsense in the form of a janky third person shooter.A funny little cart racer with inventive levels and easy to pick up and play co-op. Not a masterpiece by any means, but an affordable and fun game nonetheless.A surprisingly ambitious game with a semi-open world mountain hub area with quests and challenges. A lot of fun to explore with a friend in local co-op. A must-own for the wii.A Zelda style action game that is a bit challenging at times, and a lot janky at times. Still a good game though.A 2d platformer follow-up to Snake, Rattle ‘n’ Roll that’s quite clever and unique for a GB game.A unique pinball game with mini-game modes and even a wild head-to-head table for two player competitive action! A gem on NES no one talks about.Happy Ys-ter. Here is one of the greatest action RPGs ever made. Bangin’ OST too.Of it’s time platformer with decent laughs throughout. Has some damn clever and interesting boss fights too!A GC exclusice action game oozing with style. Has some… interesting… controls for combat but it’s pretty cool.A sorta-platformer by the guy what created the design for Sonic! Has very unique mechanics, including a cool mix-and-match power up system. Well worth checking out, even if its a bit obtuse at times.An under-appreciated sequel to the arcade classic. Is it different? Yes. But its still fun!The forgotten middle child of Media Molecule, but I really cute and consistently creative adventure platformer more people should play.One of Nintendo’s more experimental published… “games”. A fascinating interactive music… thing. Impossible to explain but its cool.Long before modern collections have had tons of extras, Kirby did it first. Easily one of the best Anniversary Collections ever made. Incredible value and a must-own for Wii.One of the best Genesis platformers, with varied levels and ridiculous fun movement. Also has a modern release for easy access.Excellent and challenging head to head puzzle game. Like Bust A Move on steroids. A must-own for well puzzler fans.A thrilling driving game, but the best mode is the free driving. Screw around for hours withba friend it big open worlds.
